Let’s pretend 8 december 1980 never happened. Then I would have made a Perfect Lennon for his 70th birthday on October 9 2014. Perfect 1 would have contained the best of his work up until, say 1985 and Perfect 2 his more recent work. Even though his solo career was cut so short I found it hard enough to bring it all down to 14 tracks. I left out the obvious, the hits, the singles and the classics and tried to compile a Perfect as if it was the ultimate Lennon come back album. Including some rockers, some pop songs, some ballads and some funny or cheesy tracks to celebrate the life of an amazing artist.
